FREE SheerPower 4GL Download

SheerPower 4GL is 100% free for all uses. This includes use by individuals, non-profits, and commerical organizations. Also there is no charge for the distribution of SheerPower based applications or its runtime virtual machine.

SheerPower 4GL runs on Windows XP, Windows Server 2003/2008, Vista, and Windows 7.

Download and Installation Instructions

1. Close SheerPower 4GL if you are currently running it, and any other programs you may have running before starting this installation.

2. Click here to download the full SheerPower Installer program.

3. In IE, a File Download dialog box will open. Click on the "Open" or "Run" button to run the installation program.

   In Firefox, you will be prompted to save sp_install.exe. Click on the "Save File" button. Note: When you save the file, you will be prompted to choose the folder location on your computer for where you want it saved.

   

   Note: In IE, you may see a blue bar across the top of the screen as displayed in the image below. Click on the bar and choose "Download File" from the menu that appears.

   

4. The License Agreement screen will appear. Click on the "Yes" button to continue.

   

5. The SheerPower 4GL Setup Instructions screen will appear. Click on the "Next" button to continue.

   

6. The Choose Setup Folder screen will appear. Click on the "Next" button to install SheerPower 4GL in the default location of c:\sheerpower. Or browse to install in a different location, then click on "Next" to complete the installation.

   

7. The Setup Complete screen will appear. Click on "Finish" to run SheerPower Rapid Development Environment now, or uncheck the box beside "Start Development Environment?" and click on "Finish" to run it later.
